Web pages not loading

Latley when I click on various links on the web pages I get this:

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

It happens most often on the weather channels page. I click on something for local pollen forcast and i get it

You do know there is a major hurricane currently going through the East coast of the USA right?

Most likely it is disruption of service either due to the hurricane or due to the fact that so many people are trying to look at weather channels for updates on the hurricane.

It was doing this before it though

Reboot the PC into safe mode w/ networking (Shut off PC and then turn back on tapping the f8 key until boot options appear) and run a quick scan using malwarebytes or superantispyware (you'll still have internet access available to download either one). If that doesn't find anything reboot the PC normally and clear all cookies then go into programs>Mozilla Firefox>Firefox in safe mode. Check the box marked as shown in the pic:



If after that the issue persist, uninstall Firefox and reinstall. That should fix the issue.

As a tech I'm always leery of viruses hence the virus scan in safe mode first...ask if you have any further questions...

That error is nearly always caused by the website, not your computer. Weather.com is probably receiving more traffic than they can handle right now.

Make sure you have cookies enabled though.

where do I do that? I've seen it before but forgot where to go
