Japanese Chrono Trigger
I basically just obtained a complete Japanese Chrono Trigger, box and all. For 12 bucks no less, I touched on it in the Ogre Battle topic (sorry DB I forgot to ask him about the price of the full Ogre Battle) looked at youtube and saw you can modfy your snes by using a game genie for it to work. Is it worth it?

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
If you get it to work, it probably will be. Chrono Trigger is awesome. I gotta master it on here someday.

Game Genie? All you need is a pair of wire cutters.

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
Even if you buy the part to make it work wouldn't it all be in Japanese? I'd look into selling it.

@DB: Even then I played CTrigger enough to know what I'm doing. I really don't want to resell tbh.

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
So will the game be in japanese? If so you'll still keep it? I don't get that kind of thing, just sell it.

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
Besides, some of the ending art is different and so are the status menus.
@Tailsy: I didn't see it in the pic but double check for a holofoil card. They were given out only to Japanese preorders and are pretty rare.

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
Several times a day right? Just seems odd I got it for 12 bucks. I've known him since he was my manager at the movie theaters in 2008, even got me Double Dragon Advance for cheap as well. o.o

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
Really, if I remember I do want to link him here. He's known about it since I joined here. I prolly am repeating but he owns almost every NES game. actually here's a youtube vid on his arcade.

Way different now. Has even Space Jam arcade. Might be able to get him to post some stuff on here about selling stuff. I'm sure he'd love that.

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
So not to be difficult but are you really gonna open it and play it even though it's entirely in Japanese and you don't know the language(do you?)? I can understand collecting it if you're gonna sell it at some point but just holding onto it or decreasing it's value seems pointless.

Re: Japanese Chrono Trigger
See the images in the original post? It's already opened DB, playing it is not going to decrease it's value. Who cares about the value anyways? Only douche bags a.k.a. "collectors" buy games for their value. Tails is a gamer and like any other game, he bought this one because he wants to play it.

I'll give you 30 bucks for it. Don't make me come over to "borrow" it.
