We all hate the water levels in games, but which are the worst?

I disagree with number 1, I found it meh at worst.

I agree with #1, because you cant get out, EVER. Its evil and torturous. But I dont think it should count, since its not really a level.
My least favorite would have to be the water temple. I had given up on the game for SOO long because it made me so angry, I could never figure it out.

I say Labyrinth Zone from sonic 1 is the worst. It took so long for me to pass that zone due to the hellish climb after the boss that involved spikes and underwater fireballs. Water Temple isn't as bad for me anymore, since I memorized most of it.

Atlantica in KH1 is much worse than the KH2 version. In KH2 you have to play some crappy rythm games, so what?

In KH1 you have to fight and swim with weird controls and having to move up and down as well as forward and back. It's not fun.

I don't get why they chose Hydrocity over Labyrinth. The Hydrocity Zone is actually one of my favorites from Sonic 3. The Labyrinth Zone was long, tedious, annoying, and easily the worst zone in the original.

These guys are tools. Ecco wasn't bad enough to make a list like this. The Water Temple wasn't bad at all, it was so insignificant I don't even remember having any trouble with it. Number 1 shouldn't even count since it's not really a part of the game. That and the water level in SMB1 isn't bad at all anyways, the minus one would be the same if it actually ended. I hate these guys.

I know the Water Temple can be bad, but it's not THAT bad. Personally I find the Forest Temple more annoying. If I had to pick a bad Zelda water level, it would be either Great Bay Temple from Majora's Mask or Lakebed Temple from Twilight Princess. Both are horrible and make the Water Temple look like a masterpiece.

I agree. Labyrinth Zone definitely should have been on the list instead of Hydrocity. Water Temple should have been at least 3 or 4. That temple sucked and it was awesome at the same time.

My second most hated water level is the Lakebed Temple, because even Great Bay isn't that bad. Horrible music, boring puzzles, boring everything.

I actually liked the Great Bay. It gave a new scenario to LoZ. I think they could have made it better but still, it was kind of fun and the music was awesome

I know I keep on going on about it, but the Lakebed Temple is the most boring part of any zelda game ever.

If I needed to pick a bad Mario water level, I would pick that water level in world 7 where its autoscroll and you need to swim very carefully of you will touch a jellyfish.
