Moving my Arcadeox folder

I just wanted to ask will moving my arcadeox folder out of my Internet temporary files folder will harm it in any way. Will it cause me to no longer be able to play any game or will it not affect the games in the least.

Re: Moving my Arcadeox folder

If you move the folder, arcadeox will not be able to find any save states/save ram and will have to reload the games. If you are worried about it getting erased, I would periodically save it to a flash drive or in your My Documents folder. I turned off the auto erase on my Norton's so that it will not erase my temp folder unless I manually do it.

Re: Moving my Arcadeox folder

My disk clean up always erase it when I use it that why I asked and I'm sick and tired of having to redo all my games. Saving it on a flash drive sounds like a good idea but how would I restore it back after I do the clean up? I use the regular disk clean up that came installed in my computer you know the one under accessories

Re: Moving my Arcadeox folder

Play a game to re-establish the temp folder. Then go to My Computer and in the address bar type in %temp%/arcadeox. There should be a folder that comes up, replace the folder with your backup/saved folder.

Re: Moving my Arcadeox folder

What I usually do is just move the NVRAM folder to my desktop then run everything and do as Sabby said.

No problem alohaex. On a side note, the "Merlin" avatar is awesome.
