MESS (Genesis/Mega Drive) - no 6 button support

It may seem out of place to put this under "Retro Uprising Support" (change forum spot if necessary), but as I when playing in Score Mode in MESS for Genesis (or Mega Drive), I notice that there is no 6 button support in these games (even in games that 6 button mode is essential), and only 3 buttons are avaiable to redefine keys in this mode.

Just out of curiousity, is it possible to add 6 button support in Score Mode or is it not and only up to the developers of MESS, because if so, it could really help in some of these games. Please reply back about this.

After the game loads in Score Mode press "Tab" and then select "Categories" and then change the controller type to 6 button.

I'll make this the default setting sometime in the future.

Some games will require that you also use the game's options menu change the default controls.

This is really good to know. I just assumed it couldn't be done.
