It is unknown as to what makes members eligible for this gift, but for those who actively use the program, don’t be surprised to see a box from Nintendo arrive in the near future!

Is Club Nintendo Worth it? If you got a DS lite when it came out could you still get 160 coins for it?

So... then it is worth it? As long as you're not buying stuff specifically to earn points it's all free extras. That's worth signing up and registering imo.

I guess, but if you're not into collecting folders and greeting cards you're not going to get much out of it.

Well there was that cd at one point, maybe that was JP. I need to register my new stuff, I was a little ticked that after 2 versions of the DS, a Wii with a few games, and 40+ DS games I still didnt have enough to get anything. I think of my 40 DS games 3 of them were valid. Gonna go update it now.

I get your point about how unfair it is but my point is it could be worse. Some promotions are simply unavailable in different regions. My Animal Crossing cards may be sorta lame but at least I got something for the few games I bought and whatever else I registered.

Eh, I was just grouchy last night. It was past my bedtime.

I still disapprove though. How hard is it to manufacture a CD? If they are willing to ship out figurines and ancient LCD games, is a CD that hard or too much to ask for?

The cost of producing a CD in, or shipping to America including translations, witch means a whole new print, probably wouldnt be worth it for the 2-3000 that are likely to be redeemed, maybe this is just a guess. Also, I think I can count on 1 hand the amount of time I've seen any sountrack to any game localized, in fact off hand I can't even think of one.
