Game says bad rom

I have a problem with a coin-op game vendetta and Violent storm.
every time I load the game up. the screen looks like it's upside down and it says bad rom. I remember Kong showed me a trick to get pass screens like that. Does anyone know how to get pass that screen?? it was Ctrl key and something else, I can't remember, this game worked before. Can anyone help me out

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Vendetta
In Full Mode Hold F2 for a few seconds.
Nothing additional is required in Score Mode.

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Violent Storm
Just wait a few seconds. The screen will automatically cycle through and the game will start. Press the END key to speed it up.

Can't on my laptop. slow as hell.
