Made by the same people who make those movies that are supposed to be Resident Evil? This will fail, they don't have a good looking female lead character. Besides fanboys I don't see many people caring about Dante.

I think someone who's as big a fan as SJB might be nervous about this. They could do it ok but chances are high that it'll be as bad as the DBZ movie.

I can think of many that would make better movies than Devil May Cry, as much as I like Devil May Cry, the story is pretty much crap.
Castlevania, Metroid, Wild Arms, Metal Gear, to name a few game series that would fit a movie much better.

Depends on which version of Dante they want to depict, seeing as he changed quite a bit throughout the series. It could be interesting no matter which way it goes.

Of course I said the same thing about Silent Hill, and we all know how that one turned out.

Battletech movie is like 20 years overdue, and a good Starship Troopers movie.
On Topic: It doesn't suprise me, being it's a popular series. Although most likely it's going to be another Resident Evil, or worse Dragonball movie.
