Saving the mouse pointer

My problem isn't changing the mouse pointer as much as it is getting it to stay. Every time i turn off my computer and turn it back on it goes back to the default mouse. My question is how do I get my mouse pointer to stay the picture i want it without it reseting all the time? (I have windows 7 if you need to know)

Re: Saving the mouse pointer

When changing options there's usually a button that says: 'Apply', and I've noticed that if you don't click it the computer will not apply any changes you have made.

Alternatively, it could be a program on your OS that's keeping the changes from being made; if that's the case then you have to find the program that's doing it and set it to 'Allow changes' or something to that effect.

I've had computers with programs installed like that and wasn't able to do much about it.
I hope I helped you to save the mouse!

Re: Saving the mouse pointer

@kong: The problem for me isnt changing it. Its saving it when i restart my system. if i change it to a pointer i downloaded, every time i restart/shutdown, it goes back to the boring white cursor. I have a scheme saved but it still goes back to the default when ever i restart my computer.
