Snow Brothers - December 2010
Retro Uprising - Arcade - Snow Brothers for NES
Released by Capcom in 1991, in Snow Brothers you play two snowmen, Nick and Tom, and you battle cute Japanese critters over 50 platform based screens. Turn the enemy critters into snowballs and then boot them around the platforms knocking down everything in their path. Pick up Sushi for exra points. When a screen is cleared of monsters you move on to the next level.
Can you save Princess Teri and Princess Tina from the clutches of King Scorch?
Master Snow Brothers for 19 Game Club points.
This is an example of the ending screen you need to submit on for Mastering credit. You may submit on any screen that comes after this one:
Play Retro Uprising - Arcade - Snow Brothers online in ArcadeOX Score Mode to receive mastery credit.

Timh submitted a screen of the last boss dead, I gave him the mastery.

If you still are having problems with this game, make sure you abuse the "invulnerable for first 3 seconds" during the start of a stage to maximize your points and lessen hits from your enemies. That's my best suggestion, and having a quick hand at the end during the boss. As long as you can press a button rapidly, you'll be fine against him.

re: Snow Brothers - December 2010
I have a question about this game. I have been trying to get through without continuing due to the the different ending you get when you manage to do that, but now that I am looking at the required screen for mastery, that may be a mistake.
So does that mean the standard ending is OK for Mastery on this game?

I can't find two endings on this game Elrod. Do you know where the other one can be found?

re: Snow Brothers - December 2010
I don't know if there are any pictures online of it. I only know about it because I succeeded in doing this on my NES back in when this came out and was surprised to see the additional content in the ending.
I will see what I can dig up.

So far all I can find is sites talking about the fact that there is an alternate ending if you can do it, but no pictures of it.
I may have to just do it myself and post it to prove it. (Now to find time to do so.)

Damn. If you can prove that there is a better ending, we're all going to have to play this again.

re: Snow Brothers - December 2010
Well I played like crap this time round and had my first continue early. But I figured I might as well get the end screen that is acceptable currently in case I can't get my old form back and make it through without continuing again.

Well done ER. Unless we can find the other ending somewhere, we should be able to accept the standard one.

I think so Tails. I believe Elrod about the ending, but I have never seen it anywhere, so it's sort of a case where we need an example to change the criteria.
