So I just turned into a 1 year old member two days ago, and I realized that I never formally introduced myself to all the great people here in RU. I sorta just played games for a few weeks as a guest, until I noticed that there was competition with scores and decided to see what you bums had to offer. I'm glad to say that I was not disappointed!

WB and Dojah were my first two serious challenges. I thought I was a great player till I met these two. I am grateful to you two for shining some light on my lack of skill and I slowly started to get better and better.

Then I saw the forum section and just browsed around and started talking. I really liked that the forum had topics about anything and everything. I wanna give a shout out to DB

! In the forums section, it's really hard to miss DB. For better or for worse, the forums wouldn't be the same without you buddy.

I slowly got to know you guys as I posted more in the forums and overall I think RU has great community.

Special thanks to Kong! I am truly grateful to you for creating this site and your dedication to all the members. You're a busy man, but always there for us.

And the Mod Squad, you guys are doing a great job at keeping the peace and helping Kong out with the site. You all were great with helping me out when I needed assistance or had any questions.
Funny thing, it took me a while to figure out that you guys were mods

Whilst I agree with everything you say regarding Kong, you are a credit to this site also.

I have enjoyed our many battles especially the spirit in which they are played. I hope there are many more to come!

Besides that one stint (you know what I am referring to) it's been great to know you Joz. Hope you stay around longer. Been here 3 years myself in Jan.

Thanks Jojo. I really like our battles too. You're the better player when it comes to vertical shooters though.

Nope Elrod as in Elrod the Albino from a little known comic called Cerberus the Aardvark.

I used to talk like him as a joke when hanging out with friends, and thus used the name online, and have kept using it ever since.

That's good to hear the origin. I always thought it was maybe a shortened form of Elrond or something.

Technically I got an account back in 2007 (Eskiv was my first high score =P) but it was unused really until September of last year, so that puts me only one month a head of you.

It's been cool knocking heads on the high score boards with you.
