Retro Uprising - Arcade - Hook for Super Nintendo

Based on the Steven Spielberg movie of the same name, Hook was released by Sony Imagesoft/Ukiyokei in 1992. It is often seen as one the better movie based games published, and in my opinion is one of the best side scrolling action games made in the 16-bit era. From its bright colorful graphics, to its great 16-bit music, to its sharp controls, Hook is a standout in almost every category, and a game I have always been thankful for.

In Hook you play as Peter Pan, and you are on a mission to save your children from the clutches of Captain Hook.

I think Moonwalker came out first, but Hook doesn't feel too much like Moonwalker as the game goes along. I think it's more of a cross between a mario game and Duck Tales or something similar. It's sort of its own thing overall, though.
