Move over Mike Haggar in real life...
Maybe be the most epic politician EVER (Yes more epic than Phil Davison):
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4o-TeMHys0]YouTube - The Rent Is Too Damn High Party's Jimmy McMillan at the NY Governor Debate[/ame]
In seriousness, I think this guy may have his heart in the right place, he doesn't
seem to be the smartest of people, and I don't want to vote for him.

Well he has a nice beard and moustache. He talks pretty fast. Lol, Cuomo couldn't even keep a straight face when it was his turn

he doesn't seem like a very good politician though. He turned a political debate into a comedy show

As I said, his heart is in the right place, but he isn't suited for this job.

I'd say he's probably as suited as anyone else.
He's certainly more awesome than anyone else.

Sure, anyone running on the "I'm crazy but I'm very determined" platform.

Nah, I stand by both my statements. I don't think a traditional politician would do a better job than a crazy person. Traditional politicians are self serving and almost never actually about the people. Who knows, maybe a crazy person would accidentally do a good job if elected.
And as far as my second statement, I guess it depends on your definition of awesome. But I think he's pretty awesome. Maybe not as awesome as like...Chow Yun Fat. Or Ol' Dirty Bastard. But definitely up there. And Big Baby Jesus is dead, so he should probably no longer be considered a factor.

Re: Move over Mike Haggar in real life...
I think the public deserves to see more of this guy before he's written off as a Haggar. (Haggar being a lame nobody from some relatively forgetful game, who had 2 or three lines total)

Come on now be real. We both know that crazy people would be terrible for public office and this guy is no exception. He may be saying some things that are true and need to be addressed but it's pretty obvious that he has no concept of what really goes on or how to affect change in our current system. He's a joke candidate.
I'll concede that he's awesome in his own way. Anyone who goes on TV with that facial hair deserves some credit.

As opposed to all the freedom fighter politicians we have in office currently.
They're all joke candidates.
I'm just sayin'...

My point is if this guy somehow got elected he'd be in way over his head and nothing he rallied for would get done. Nothing gets done with our current politicians but at least that's because of greed or laziness and not being just inept.

Man, really? That's better? I'd much rather have someone that at least tries to do his job.

In this situation I think it is better. At least a typical politician gets something done, this guy would have no chance and it'd be a waste of votes and everyones time. Like the saying goes, don't hate the player hate the game.

Re: Move over Mike Haggar in real life...
So getting something bad done is better than getting nothing done? And getting nothing done because you are innept but good spirited is worse than getting nothing done because you were bribed or lazy?

Re: Move over Mike Haggar in real life...
No I mean typical politicians can actually make some change, good or bad. This guy would be a laughing stock and have no chance to do anything but waste everyones time. I don't think it's right or fair but it's the way things are.

With his poor command of the English language and awesome facial hair, he will leave all opposition dumbfounded, causing them to give in to his will and decrease the rent.

Re: Move over Mike Haggar in real life...
The bank bailout was around $700 billion. We gave that money to banks because they foreclosed on too many houses and couldn't sell them all.
Maybe the crazy Rent is Too Damn High guy would have been just smart enough to realize it would be smarter to spend the $700 Billion to buy the unsellable houses and then give the houses to poor people instead of giving the money to rich people and letting the houses continue to be vacant and unsellable.
I tried to look up exactly how much the bank bailout was and I got figures between $30 billion and $4,000 billion. I went with the offical number, $700B.
