Apple - Magic Mouse - The world?s first Multi-Touch mouse.

This mouse is pretty cool.

Connects using Bluetooth.

Uses the one button style of a mac, but can be used as three buttons for Windows/Linux.

Multi-touch top, easy 360 degrees scrolling at the swipe of a finger.

Can use two fingers to swipe between tabs or photos etc.

I got this in the post yesterday - it's excellent!
Just thought I would post about it!

How does a one button mouse work? Even the really old crappy ones from my childhood had at least two buttons.

For a right click, you use ctrl+click, i think

Well that sounds stupid. Are they only using one button to differentiate from Windows or do they really think that fail set up is better? My current mouse has like 8 buttons and I don't even know what they're all used for.

I find it works all right, and it isn't as annoying as it sounds. If your doing a lot of right clicking then you've probably got your hand on the keyboard for shortcuts anyway.
But yea, I thought it was dumb before I tried it.

Anyway, it's stupid. Right clicking makes so much more sense, and there's no reason to not have 2 buttons.

That site says this mouse can do 2 clicks, which makes it OK to me. I'd be interested to check it out. I support a mouse that has a bunch of buttons that do things. My mouse has a button that goes back and forward in my web browser, and I can't imagine going back.

I am very glad the Macs I use at school have 2 button mouseseses.

1 button is dumb.

Touchpads have had mouse gestures for years now, all they did was put a touchpad on the back of a mouse.

Mice and Mouses are both correct.

Pop quiz, what is the plural of mongoose, tenderfoot, sabertooth and still life? Hint, each has only one offically correct plural form, unlike mouse which has 2.

Mongoose: remains the same
tenderfoots: I'm thinking it's not feet cause its not in reference to anatomy
sabertooth: cant be pluralized, tiger can
still life: still lifes, because it's not actually living

The one button works as though it has a left and right click. Click in the middle to click the wheel
