Madden series

Even though Madden 11 is out, i am still enjoying Madden 07 and its superstar mode. On it, i've created a quarterback for the Vikings known as D.Bro who can scramble as well as pass.

What's your favorite Madden?

Are you playing on PS2? I think I have Madden 08 for 360 somewhere. It's fun but I'm not that into it really. I don't understand why people buy a new one every year. They need to remake mutant league football to spice things up.

Got Madden 08 myself and don't understand why get a new one each year. Feel NFL blitz 2000 is the best though.

Yeah blitz is really fun but it kinda got boring for me. Btw I heard they're not gonna makes those games anymore.

Yeah I heard that the last blitz game was literally the last one. Obviously some other company could end up making it eventually but it seems dead in the water atm.

Yeah i'm playing the PS2 version. I used to have Madden 08 but it broke

My favourite has to be the 2005 issue on PS2. Had a great balance between simulation and playability - enough depth to be genuinely immersive and yet simple enough to pick up and play.

The superstar mode is fun from 07 (?) onwards, but the 07 version I had was really buggy, lost three or four superstars due to data corruption.
