According to wikipedia Aladdin was part of Arabian nights. Also Aladdin can't really be stealing it if they even mention it in the opening song. "Arabian niiiiiiiiiights, like arabian daaaaaaaaays". I'm sure that was a very intentional tribute to the source material.

Most stories have been told in some form before.

Disney is really good at retelling stories and owning them. They almost always make characters that people remember. So if they are ripping off source material at least they do it justice.

NOW, my avatar is a face from the game Legendary Wings » Coin Op that swallows you up, and then the game changes from a top scrolling shooter to a side scrolling platformer.

{however I cannot guarantee this is what would happen if you were swallowed up IRL}

Yeah I see what you mean. In the english version Zoisite was made to look more feminine and given a girl's voice I guess we can't have a guy guy couple here in the states in kid cartoons but in japan there 2 bad guys in love
