I'm new and thought I should just say hi. I am a hardcore RPG guy. My two favorites are Destiny of an Emperor and Dragon Warrior IV. I am also a fan of the FF series as well. Looking forward to enjoying some of the old games I can't buy anymore.

i must say i am too a rpg fan but have never heard of destiney of an empire ... but ill take your word and dudebros word that it is good

If you've never played Destiny of an Emperor then it is a must if you are an RPG fan. It is very interesting and brings a different feel to the RPG games of that era.

Also, if your a fan of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" series, you'll like this game, many of the same characters.

I know it's nitpicking but it is all the same characters. It's based on history with the real peoples names and places(although the battles weren't faithful to history). Kinda sucks the newer versions like dynasty warriors don't follow the history very well. You know, when you pump out basically the same game every year you have to spice it up.

Sorry to derail the topic kinda. But yeah Destiny of an Emperor is one of my favorites from the old school. Funny it was a capcom game.

No that did happen, china and japan have had mobile robot suits since about 150AD. Lui Bei had a bright pink one for some reason. At least Guan Yu had one with a beard. You know because he was the man.
