Re: Fan on Facebook
I think it's a great idea but I'm not good with setting these kind of things up. What would I need to do to set up a fan page?

I was actually gonna try and set it up since I'm on Facebook right now, but on order to do this I would probably need an admin's permission or something so I don't know if it's cool with Tenser or something like that because I will put it up on Facebook.

Re: Fan on Facebook
i think its a good idea, im a little worried that if the site gets too big then it will lose its appeal, that would be overshadowed by my happiness for tenser though.

Retro Uprising | Facebook
It would be nice to be a little more in depth with the details on the site.
---------- Post added at 10:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:11 PM ----------
Also, if Kong or someone could make a more square logo, that would also help.

I would like to see it before giving an official stamp of approval. I made the myspace page. I don't use friend sites like those and do not know much about them but I do think that they would probably help a lot.

Facebook has changed a lot since I signed up, but back in the day I don't think you could see things without logging in. Therefore I don't know if you can see this but here is a link:
Login | Facebook
If you can't see that, pretty much the only information on it is this:
Website: http://www.RetroUprising.comCompany Overview:A site where you can play all of your favorite old school games, no bs this site is 110% For realMission:To provide fun video games and hours of entertainment for people of all ages

Nothing. I was just telling Kong what was on there, and it's not a lot. Not that that is a bad thing. I think it's fine.

Re: Fan on Facebook
I don't know, it feels a little empty, or something.
I'm not insulting you, honest, I'm just giving my opinion.
I think the "bs" and "110%" have the ability to turn some people away. Maybe you could also add the fact that there's a friendly community, because that attracts more people as well. I know that's the main reason I'm here.

Re: Fan on Facebook
I think "110%" is "bs".
I think it should include something like "Play Arcade, Atari, Nintendo, Sega and many more classic games from the 80's and 90's online for free. Plus save states, high scores, contests and an active forum."

I added that quote to the company overview part of the info section.
I also added an album for retro games we have on the site. I added the pictures I had saved and I took some new screenshots to fill it up some more. So far it's mainly NES stuff since that's what I had. Here's a picture of what I have so far-
If anyone wants to post some cool screenshots of games on RU I'll upload them to facebook. I only ask that you pick games that someone might see and remember, mario bros hack no2390 isn't gonna cut it for most people.
