Re: IMAX theatre
I'll find out tonight.
---------- Post added at 09:31 PM ---------- Previous post was Yesterday at 11:40 AM ----------
The IMAX at The Henry Ford was amazing! I couldn't believe the size of the screen, and the sound/audio was spectacular! They told me to get there up to a hour early for best seating. My g/f and I did get there about 1 hour early and they made everyone wait in line FOREVER!!! I didn't like waiting!
But yeah, the IMAX experience was awsome and so was the show.

Niiiiccceee! I'm glad you liked it. I think it is difficult to imagine how awesome it is until you experience it first hand. There's no turning back. You are now one of us!

Re: IMAX theatre
I'm kind of a antsy person, and usually don't enjoy sitting in a theatre, but the Imax is much better then the conventional theatres I'm familiar with.
Has anyone scene a 3D film at the Imax yet? I'm considering checking it out.
@Winnebagel- Yes, Imax definitely brings sexy back to the theatre. ;D

Re: IMAX theatre
@ Kevin, true. IMAX rocks. I am going to try to see the next Harry Potter in IMAX if I can. I saw the last one there and some scenes were in 3D.
@ Steven, I saw Beowulf in standard 3D digital and it was sweet. I wasn't too big on the adaption, but the 3D was amazing!!!
@ Sez, yeah let us know what you think. I hope you like it. I love IMAX!

Re: IMAX theatre
Yeah it's too bad they ruined Beowulf. That's one of those stories I was forced to read in school and I ended up really liking it.

Re: IMAX theatre
Off topic but wasn't that movie based on a poem? Which 'book' did you read?

It's true. I had high hopes as I liked the original as well, but the story just came off as flat and boring to me. The 3-D was amazing, though.

I read some version of it in high school. It was some form of old english but it wasn't a chore to read. I didn't think I was gonna like it but it turned out to be very interesting.

Re: IMAX theatre
Im awfull in any sort of movies,
I talk all the way through it, and if someone tells me to "shushhh", I tell them to "shushhh!"
Last film I went to see was "Angels and demons"
Now Ive read the book before so I brought my fella because he hasnt read it. But he fel asleep halfway through,But to make a long story short I kind of ruined the film for him by telling him everything that was gonna happen.
Soo! he does it to me all the time.
