Re: The Church of Dudebro
A reading from the Book of Mallard
As the mallards spread their wings in flight, they saw all of the great species of duck. Mallard, Canvasbacks, Mandarins, the Northern Pintails, the Cape Teals, and all of the other great duck species as one across the northern skies. Through their flight, the mallard king, Graybill, remembering the words of Dudebro, realized that although each duck was different, they were all of the same. Graybill took it upon himself to send a message to all followers of Dudebro. Organizing the flock, they flew into a formation, that when seen from the ground, an image of Dudebro's face could be seen. Truly a miracle.

Amen! Truly a blessing! Thank you for sharing that brother Jim. Now please remember to put in your 5 cents as the offering plate is passed around. May the Dudeness bless you.

Whe DB was born , 3 kings came from far away to see him.
They all brought him gifts, one of the kings brought a gift of Bud.
Another one brought Budweiser.

You see everyone, I think when His Royal Dudeness was quoted as saying he didn't like drinking alcohol, he was trying to say that he doesn't like drinking it on Sunday, so we should not allow liquor to be sold on Sunday. I think the issue here is that people took him literally, when His Dudeness really wanted to teach us through a parable.

Re: The Church of Dudebro
see winnebagel, i think we have a disagreement in the interpetation of the world of dudebro. i believe when dudebro said that he didn't like to drink alcohol, it was a sacrifice that he made to provide us, his followers, with more booze...Praise Dudebro!!!

Re: The Church of Dudebro
Now that is perhaps another good interpretation. Sometimes it is difficult to get the exact meaning. Are you referencing the King Jim Version? (KJV)
I typically reference the New Revised Bagel (NRB) translation myself.
I like how that particular verse reads in your translation.

Yes I do prefer the (NRB)
especaly the book of ikariam that states
"If you pilage thy town, ye shall be sorry to the extremeness, I will steel all ye marble and wine"
Also Pope LARRY once stated
"let ye wines be strong and your beard be long and wirey"
and also
"squarkk"

Aye, once again ye have proven yourself to be a great daughter of the faith. You even recognize the blessed NRB translation, and have shown your knowledge of it.
Let me quote from the NRB as well. In the book of Magpie it says, "The flock all flew to the blessed virgin to pay her homage for she proved herself to be wiser than the mallard".
I think we have seen this come true today.
