I think that sentence contains all the question words you need. Alls you have to do is change the positioning of the "of" and remove an "a".
"Have you recently decided your life-long dreams and goals are no longer of concern?" reads much more clearly.
In direct answer to that, it's quite the contrary. It is my lifelong dream to turn my son into a lefthanded pitcher for the San Francisco Giants.
