Error. Game did not load.

Hmmm. Today when I play games on this site it says error game did not load. That's weird, earlier today and yesterday it was working fine. Why is it doing this? Are the games unavailable right now or something?

I've played a few - give me some game names and formats (coinop, console). ARe you using std or beta, or new version of site?

Are you still having problems? Are you running in default site mode? Sometimes running in "Beta" can help - at the very bottom left, there's a dropdown, most people see "---Default". Change that to "Beta" and see if it helps.

Try putting the site on beta. That worked for me last time. Go to the bottom of the page, and on the left hand side you'll see default. Change that to beta.

Not working for me now either. I was using beta for awhile and that worked, but none of the games work no matter what mode I use. Using Internet Explorer. Windows 10 home. 64 bit.

Never mind. I forgot I had to run IE as administrator. Seems to be working for now....I said to myself.

A file was probably locked by some processes. Waiting a few minutes might have fixed it. Rebooting most likely would.

Ugh. One day it works, one day it doesn't. Sometimes as administrator, sometimes not as administrator. Sometimes signing out and signing back in works, sometimes it doesn't.

Push the windows button + R.
search %temp%\low\arcadeox
push ok
it will take you to the folder, just delete all folders in it.
For me the file location is <my name> app data> local> temp> low> arcadeox.

Every couple of days something happens and RU hangs up on me. Personally, I want to blame Steam. That alone running in the background causes the controller to not be recognized by RU. If I forget to exit out of Steam, I have to exit IE, exit Steam, and then come back to RU and try again. And maybe that has nothing to do with while the arcadeox folder hangs up the game, but it makes me feel better blaming it.

I tried in Beta mode as well as Default mode. Both times it did not work. The thing is, I'm not finding ArcadeOX on my computer for some reason.

How are you playing? IE? Old Firefox? IE Tab?

Try a reboot.

Did you reboot?

Press Windows Key + R
In the box paste
%temp%\Low\arcadeox
Hit enter
In the window that opens, delete the zip files.

I've had issues today, too. Switched to Beta mode, seemed to help. Either that, or I just got lucky.

Have you tried just uninstalling and reinstalling? What Browser are you using? If memory serves (and it's a few years outdated!), it only works on Internet Explorer or really old Firefox.

I just use a plugin now for Chrome. It's called IETab. Works perfectly now. Just make sure to click the tab when you are on the Retro site and it thinks that it's on IE.
