I have to ask, what is the point of the end button. Because of how my keyboard is, the end button is right next to the arrow keys. So on far too many occasion I am screwing up one of my games because I accidently hit the end button.
The end button for some reason skips in fast speed for a second in the game. I just don't get the purpose of it. It seems more of a hindrance than any kind of help. Just my 2 cents.

Not sure about from a user perspective, but it's helpful when a mod has to watch a 6-hr game of SimCity, and we can fast forward just a little.
I love it. I use it to skip past intro and transition screens. I use it a lot when playing or modding.
Options.
1. Press the tab key to open menu and reassign it to another key.
2. Scroll to the bottom of any page. Change the theme from "default" to "beta". That will disable Fast Forward in Score Mode but it will still be there for Arcade in Full Mode.

What about one of those big RPG games? Sometimes you need to train (Aka. Farm)
If you are in IE then that load time should just be once. Should be fast the next time. Overeall it is better.

A loading delay on first Arcade game and first Console game.
Some systems see lots of improvements in beta. I forget which but SNES for sure. The only real draw backs is the loss of fastforward and pause in score mode.

A more appropriate name would probably be tournament mode instead of beta mode.
i love FF. I suggest anyone using it. i also wish it would stay in score mode. Nothing more boring then dying over and over and playing over and over only to have cutscenes, long breaks chew up hours of my time. For most people probably not a big deal and then you have the purists "well, that's not how it was back then." I would imagine most people do not play games like i do (overly dedicated persistence)
