The even issue

I have many evens, and always lose. If I 'm in a double even I 'm always second. If I 'm in a triple even I 'm always third

System annouce me first in the 'We have a new champion' thread and gives me the 25 points, but after one or two days I find myself second or third and 15 or 10 points...

So I wonder, is it possible to fix this inequity? Could players of same position get same points?

I assume you mean tie. Ties should go to the person that played the fastest. If you have an example where that isn't happening let me know.

I don't think this is happening. I try to be fast but I always lose in ties. Never won any, and I m sure: I won't win in the future.

Can't you just give same points to the players who have even?

Post a few of the scores that you are tied for first.

Once more, dont write nonsense and don't call "cheap" other people's scores just because you can't beat them.

I would prefer this myself, even though I'm relatively new here. The issue with that, is that many games have a max score. If 10 people have already gotten the max score, what's the point in me even playing it, if I care about high scores? I think the logic here is like with Pac-Man. There is a perfect score, and now it's all about who can get it the fastest. There are flaws in both options. Either that, or first place is first place, even if it's shared amongst 10 different users.

@PP1969GR all of the games you listed are correct. Ties are correctly go to the fastest play time.

The ties and leaderboard are updated once per day. So when a score is first approved ties are inserted randomly. Then within 24 hours it is sorted by play time.

As far as the ties that are missing from your personal score page - My Game Rankings - seems to be a bug that is random. Refreshing the page will remove and add some of your ties. Sorry, no time to fix that at the moment.

Nope. Reaching a score in faster time requires more skill. Being top simply because played on a different date is cheap.

IMO. Ties should either be shared or go to who played fastest.

My scoreboard says at the right side 32 first places, while they are written only 28.
Totall score(1554) agrees with 32 first places.

I've just never seen anyone so obsessed with the minutiae of the scoreboard/leaderboard like he is. At least I definitely know how it works now.

No. Is he the "PP" in 7th place overall? I'll be the first to admit going after some low-hanging fruit from time-to-time, like Trivial Pursuit, which I actually happen to like. But, I just started at MARP. I have no desire to put in the time and effort to get anywhere near the top 20 list. But, to each his own, I guess.

I didn't say it was a bad thing, I've just never seen anyone so interested in it. I still don't quite fully understand how the scoring works. My number of first places seems to change from time to time, but it's always fairly close.

I don't know if I have games missing or not. Honestly, I spend 95 percent of my time doing mod duties, and hardly ever play anymore, unless there's some kind of tournament or contest going on. I'm sure when it's winter, and my life slows down a little, I'll start playing more.

that proves it was him . he played every broken game and every new Rom set there for a cheap first place ...

I zeroed my scores to remove score players could attack me from . I do not feel you where playing fair . when people get time they will beat your scores and you will fall back to the bottom .

Many times people have went out of there way to push me around .

It'd also be nice if you two gentlemen would take this argument offline between yourselves. Forum's not the place for back and forth between two people just looking for an argument. This thread should confine itself to scoreboard or leaderboard issues.
