Magmax troubles uploading game /score

Tonight I played Magmax again for NES .. I stopped playing at 999,800

I clicked F12 it goes to submit the score .. Everything stops responding for a couple of seconds then the score is submitted message comes up on the screen .

I tried this 4 different times and it is not showing anywhere that I played this game tonight .

why is this being ignored?

Hmm. Maybe because there's basically one or two mods covering the scores at the moment? We don't have an army of 10-12 adjudicators/mods just sitting around waiting for scores and issues, so nothing's being "ignored". Maybe it's just taking our skeleton crew a little bit of time to cover everyone's scores/issues. A bit of patience would be appreciated. If you're expecting resolution in less than 24 hours, you need to adjust your expectations.

When I saw 15 people read this and some scores got submitted. Yeah got to ask why is this being ignored.

Yes I understand there is limited people here that can look into this. Maybe there should be more people added on ?

Can you try submite another score, lower than 999k?

Btw krehztim, is it possible to submit a score in GP Rider?
If not, then why this game exists in the list?

Although I agree with the sentiment about patience, it is a bit odd that even with View all scores turned on, that score doesn't appear like it normally does.

I assume by this response his score does appear in the queue? I'm sure that would put his mind at ease that eventually it will be approved.

I have to wonder how long it would take to achieve a score like that.

I checked and it's not showing it anywhere to found .. Like I never played the game .

I now lost the link to check my scores and recordings .

To answer your question about how long it takes .

This game was about 2 hours long .

I did submit a lower score a couple nights before on this game.. It was just over 800k .. It did the very same thing ..

I bet if I did a game of 405k it would submit that .. But that's not the point here .. Getting the highest score you can get and see if someone beats you.

ok just played another game 410. Since I really was not hearing anything on this.

Seems like the longer games are not getting added .

So that has always got to play in my head if I got a good game going on something .

Really changes the way I think about this site . About getting the highest score and see if someone beats you .. It's more of who gets the highest score and there score goes though.

I was thinking about Donkey Kong Junior and Donkey Kong Scores but those are 3 hours games .

I've never seen nor heard of this issue before. I've got some submissions as long as 3 hours. I checked the folders on the server last night for one of the games you mentioned, and I didn't see an INP or a screenshot, so I personally don't know what the issue could be. It's literally like the game itself never got submitted. Is it just one platform you're having issues with, like a console? Have you had any issues with Coin Op games disappearing?

I've never heard of any issues with DK or DK Jr, either. Wes put up 1.1m a couple of months ago with no issues at all.

PP1969GR - when I try to launch the game, it just shuts down within 2 seconds. Is this the same issue you're having?

Well I have had this happen on 2 different console games recently . Yeah there is no history to prove that I played this other then the screen shot .

Seems to be a problem with it going into not responding mode on long recordings.

It did it on both of the 800k and 999 Magmax but still said score was submitted and thank you.
It did the same thing today with the 410 game in which I felt completely rushed to get a score in as fast as I could . Before the recording was to long. But it still did the not responding but this time score got added .. So why not the other 2 from before?

Anyways I really like this site and all the different games and different players here .. I just do not want to waste my time on playing something for nothing. Thank you for your post and message today

I think I just had the same problem.

I just played a great game of Robotron this morning. Got 9,999,975 and quit at wave 353.

I did the same thing as you. Hit F12 and submitted the score. Then I got the message that says that you can close the window (and that the score had been saved). I took my own screen shot too and then closed the window.

When I checked my player movie and score directory it was not there like it usually is right away. The acceptance process takes longer but you can usually find your INPs right through this link right after you are done playing to check them for yourself.

My game was more than 3 hours so maybe the time or size is an issue?

I've got some people from RU looking into my problem so cross both our fingers that the files turn up. Otherwise it would be hard to commit to any more marathon sessions while having to worry about the INP disappearing at the end.

I just responded to this .. In the missing scores postings .. Yeah I have had 2 Magmax games of an hour and half and one of 2 hours .. Never get uploaded after it was confirmed ..

I think this all started to happening recently I had long games of Crazy Kong and Donkey Kong 3 that went though without a problem .

I am like you not wanting to play longer games not knowing if my time is going to be completely wasted .

Thanks but the shock has worn off and the sad reality has set in.

That 3 hour+ recording is now probably gone forever despite the ArcadeOX system clearly telling me that the score had been saved.

First the IGBY upload problems over at TG and now I am losing scores on RU. System gremlins have certainly got me dialed in this summer.

Sorry you or anyone else had to go through losing all their hard work even though they thought it was saved.
