RU Awards '15: Voting(RU Lifetime Achievement Award)
RU Lifetime Achievement Award - This goes to a longtime member that has been an incomparable asset to the RU community and is well-liked by everybody. Administrators are ineligible for this award, as are previous winners(this is the first year, though, so only Kong and Kugyince are ineligible.)
Voting closes February 7.

Re: RU Awards '15: Voting(RU Lifetime Achievement Award)
I know this was probably discussed earlier and I may have said something, I don't remember, gotta show up more.
I'm sorry, but the inaugural recipients of this award should be Kong and Tenser/Kugyince. There efforts to create a site that we have loved for what has been over a decade now is legendary in there own right.
List of accomplishments - Kong:
onVGP website creator
retrouprising website creator
arcadeox creator
two time team competition captain
forum administrator
and able to do all of this with just the donations of the members here
And one of the nicest guys you could talk with about programming, computers, the world, etc.
List of accomplishments - Tenser:
Highly respected forum contributor
Forum administrator
Three time team captain
Hi score leader
Able to take over the reigns for Kong so that development on the site can be increased and more wonderful items can be added
And probably one of my greatest friends that I have never met face to face - you suck!!!
Don't get me wrong, the list you have is top notch, all deserving, but in my opinion, the category is invalid if those two gentlemen are not inducted 1 and 2 (or 1 and 1A).
Thanks for the time.

Re: RU Awards '15: Voting(RU Lifetime Achievement Award)
Well that may be so Sabby but I believe Kong himself started the idea of no admins winning this type of award.

Re: RU Awards '15: Voting(RU Lifetime Achievement Award)
I believe we agreed that Kong and Tenser will receive this award alongside whomever is voted for?

Re: RU Awards '15: Voting(RU Lifetime Achievement Award)
Doesn't really matter, I know I'm the best and Kong is a distant second. You scrubs can battle it out for third.
That being said, this discussion reminded me that I hadn't voted yet. It was down to two people, I ended up voting for Mr. Sparkle.

Re: RU Awards '15: Voting(RU Lifetime Achievement Award)
This is going to be tough for me to vote for because my experiences are only with those Mods I knew back when I was a Mod myself. The others could be great but I won't really know it.
At least I still have time to vote so I can do some research.

See Katz, just like I clearly stated above. I voted for myself because I wasn't gonna be in your situation. Gotta be on your toes and think quick like me.

Lifetime achievement awards are quite an accomplishment and the fact you were nominated is definitely something to be proud of.
It means people thought enough about you and your contributions to the site to include you in the running. Keep up your good work and I'm sure your time will come.
