Ok so here we go...

I've had Burger King before in the UK but can you believe we only got te 1st Burger Kings in Johannesburg recently (about 3 months ago), crazy stuff...

I've watched the entire series of The Office at least a dozen times, and I am watching it now.

Eh.

The UK one was definitely good, but it didn't have any heart to it. Even Black Books, one of the most abrasive British shows I've ever watched, had some genuinely touching moments.

But hey -- it could be that I haven't watched it in forever.

It also could be that the US one had more time to grow as a series and allows its characters to flourish.

I liked them both, problem with the UK one was that I had to consciously listen to them to understand what they were saying.

@Ballas - I feel bad for you guys. Not because it took this long but because you got exposed to BK at all. Their secret recipe is to grill/burn the meat so you don't taste how gross it is.

@Steven- I liked the Office(US) but the last 2-3 seasons really went down in quality I thought. It's as if they became too self aware, or something. I dunno I can't put my finger on it but I had trouble getting motivated to watch it.

The UK was good but some of the jokes didn't land for me and I assume it's a cultural difference. Ricky Gervais is awesome though. Seriously they should make a statue for him because he's a national treasure. Few comedians can amuse me so easily. He even makes me laugh in interviews.
