Re: SNES RPG's

Hmmm, you can't even call it an action rpg?

RPG is a pretty loose term in gaming bro. Some people argue that it only requires that you "play a role" like with the narrative in a Zelda game. So you could also lump in games like The Walking Dead which feature no real combat or choices about how your character develops(physically not emotionally). I'm not saying I agree really I'm just saying the term is not set in stone. Call Zelda an action RPG if it makes you feel better.

I've heard people say that, and eventhough they are wrong, (it's an action adventure game), they can call it whatever they want.

Some good SNES RPG's that haven't been mentioned are
Shadowrun
Terranigma

I saw a few people here mention Illusion of Gaia (Illusion of Time in EU), which is a sequel to Soul Blazer. Well, Terranigma is the 3rd, and imo, the best in the series. It only got released in JP and PAL, so there might be a new adventure out there for you yanks

This is one of the reasons I love RetroUprising, there are so many games here it seems like you can find almost any game that can be named!

Re: SNES RPG's

Pretty sure Terranigma doesn't work properly though. Think it freezes in Score Mode.
