Re: 2014 World Cup
I'm glad to see Brazil lose so much.
They're nothing but dirty and it was so apparent watching them so much and this is my first exposure to Professional Soccer.

I think not. Everything seems peaceful here. But president Dilma runs some risk of not being re-elected. The idea of World Cup in Brazil was of her party, a populist and corrupt machine to the extreme which is already in power for 12 years (never with my vote, let me say).

Believe me, if Argentina will become champion tomorrow, it will hurt more Brazil than losing 20x0.

Re: 2014 World Cup
Halftime. 0-0.
IMO Argentina is playing a lot better than Germany. Solid defense and they are taking the gaps in Germany defense and making shots. They need to actually get it in the goal though. Too bad for the disallowed goal too.

I'd get excited if they replaced the puck with a grenade.
You just gotta find a sport you like, find a team, and then follow
them around and see how they do. Learn the players, learn about em,
get emotionally invested in them. Thus, when they win you feel
amazing, and when they lose you feel terrible. It's a primitive
human instinct, plain and simple.
I don't find it weird at all.
A sport that's really entertaining to watch is Australian
Football, them Aussies kill each other every game.

Re: 2014 World Cup
FUG.
Argentina totally forgot what offense was past halftime. Until the Germans scored of course. Then no more flopping, no more kicking the ball backwards. Argh
GG.

You make this argument in every thread of a thing you don't like or understand, and then come back with nothing more than "I have a point" or "You gotta admit..." . No, you don't have a point more than "I don't like thing".

Come on, be open minded, friend! That sport was a huge success when broadcast here in the last Winter Olympics.
I liked very much. If our temperature was about 40º C cooler, I would play.

Re: 2014 World Cup
Curling was a freaking course in my High School. I got banned from the club because I smashed a 3 foot spider in the ice. I was actually my partners fault, I winged it at him full speed and he laid down his broom to stop it and it went airborne lol.

Well, the largest tournament here in Canada is the Scot Tournament of Hearts, so at least we are not denying it.
