Re: dead celebrities
Peter O'Toole died yesterday. I'm sure most of you young people won't know his work but trust me he was a legend. He was Lawrence of Arabia. He was Tiberius in Caligula(kids, don't watch this movie seriously) and he was in tons of other roles that earned him universal respect and admiration.

What a terrible way to end the year. One of my favorite actors as a child. Brought so many funny memories as Uncle Phil and Shredder. RIP James Avery

Re: dead celebrities
It sucks but I'm more saddened by how. He died from open heart surgery. I had a friend lose his mother that way and it's like a wall hits you all the sudden. They go in alive and scared and then never wake up. I just hope he went with very little suffering.

His surgery was a few moths ago.

I'd rather hit the wall actually, sounds kinda like a peaceful way to go, no so good for loved ones of course.

RIP. Made some really iconic ones like Pacman. Really talented. Wish I knew what he did before he died It's sad learning about these talented people by their death.

Mae Young died today at 90. I was never a big wrestling fan but she was undoubtedly a legend and a funny character.

Wow, even at 90 I'm shocked. She was getting powerbombed through tables just a couple years ago. RIP.

Re: dead celebrities
I'm pretty sure it was her who was going senile, even while she was still performing. I seem to remember some interview or just a segment on the show where she seemed sincerely senile and her friend Mula had to kinda control her.

Re: dead celebrities
I just recently found out that John Cleese is undead. People were saying that Monty Python was getting back together including J.C., to which I said John died many years ago, I remembered the news article and argued the fact 'till I decided to look it up to show them... turns out it was a hoax, he's been alive this whole time! Sweet!

OMG, I can't believe it - GOOD news on this thread for once!
I think what you heard may have been connected to an act John was working on fairly recently where he, as a part of the act, dies by the end of the performance.

And in related classic TV news, apparently Dave Madden, probably best known as Reuben Kincaid, the manager for the family's band on The Partridge Family, died today at 83.
