Whoops. Just realized it ends PST, not EST. That gives you 3 extra hours.
8 hours 50 minutes left.

Re: 2013 Retro Uprising Gaming Champ
joz and incubator hacked onto main page standings? If you visit the scores page you see nothing of them...also not in latest scores from today...so how did they vault up like that except hacked?
just curious....doubt I'll play any tonight...got a bad cold that is semi-owning me.
congrats to the winners.
Loderunner...shame the game had to be spoiled by what I would term cheating and exploiting an issue with the code versus playing out rounds like I did... I won't do that trick...it's not the way to play the game. they all played to round 3. I played to round 15 showing more skill at the game and playing it straight up as intended... it is what it is I guess.

I only did it because others did it. I'm trying to do as little work as possible here! because i know im going to ef up donpachi. I will easily kill 5 hours of stupid deaths scoring 6-7.9 million.

Not positive what you are talking about but was probably a temp glitch caused when I was copy code over to make the 2014 version.
Not over yet. Over 4 hours left.

I agree. Good reason why feedback and testing is so important when choosing the games before the contest begins.
It might not have made a difference in this contest though. It only really affected you and without that glitch you would be very close to second place but still a bit of a distance.

well to be fair permafrost hasn't done anything since earlier in this year. I understand what he is saying. But as you mention Kong it is only one game and it really has no meaning otherwise.

Re: 2013 Retro Uprising Gaming Champ
Wont be playing any more. Cant find the competitive spark tonight. Was going to try and beat Rick's Lock N Chase score (worked a few patterns out) but gave up.
Congrats to TIF and TRB, you guys never cease to amaze me. Well done to everyone else for making it a great year. Hopefully we can make 2014 even better!

Re: 2013 Retro Uprising Gaming Champ
Thank you Barra. Thank you Gimme. Thank you to any else that congratulate. I am taking a long break. Almost beat the donpachi score as the ball dropped but i do what i do best and that's mess easy things up.
Anyhow. See whoever on the 6th. Will not be playing nearly as much as i did last year.
On a light note. This is a wonderful site. Especially those who miss the golden era days or arcades in general.
Thanks for all your work Kong and Sanic most importantly. Thank you to the crack team who view all the videos (Barra, Josephjo, Tails) and everyone else who contributes.
Now to find a way to conquer my life.

Re: 2013 Retro Uprising Gaming Champ
yeah those 2 guys kicked it. It's part of why I didn't play much the second half of the year. I had posted my good scores for games I was decent at...rest would have required quite a bit of play from me to do well. I could have done it but choose not to as I think I still would have ended up 3rd place.
Valter and I had battled in past years at MARP...so I already knew what he was capable of. Still trying to figure out who TIF is. :P

if the 3rd place prizes have not changed, I'll choose the sega saturn dogbone USB controller. thx!
message me if you need mail address.
