and a suggestion i know it would be long but it would be better:

make numerous rounds (which happens often in dodgeball)

I've got no problem with people talking smack as long as it's good natured (which yours was) and doesn't personally attack anyone.

Smack talk is actually quite funny. I like to see how witty everyone is.
