cleared games

ok, I really am confused. I totally understand what is required to have a "cleared" game but it seems often a game submitted gets cleared for some but not for others.

ok, how come several other scores show as "cleared" but my score for it isn't?
is it because my specific screenshot had cycled back to the attract/demo mode? you still see the score I did and it's clear from other much lower scores that are designated as cleared I did clear it. is there something specific in the screenshot I need? do I need to formally submit it as cleared or place "cleared" in the save comments by the screenshot or something?

just curious as mario isn't the only one I see like this for my scores.

I'd say someone just overlooked it Permafrostrick. Your score is now marked as cleared.

This game loops after phase 12 so a score is marked as 'cleared' after that. There's a couple of other scores that should also show as cleared, I'll update them where needed.

It shows you're cleared.
About two spots above your 2nd place score it shows your clear status along with the time it took you to complete the game. The "cleared" games are separated from the other scores, while the scores have places attached to the usernames, the cleared games have stars attached to them.

i have a similar issue...cleared but no high score.
