Which is ironic because 100 years ago no one wanted the Irish in the US at all.

The civil war was when that first started changing. There was a larger prejudice agaist Chinese in the early 1900's.

there are 8 million irish people in the u.s., 2 million in england, about 7 million throughout europe, 5 million around the world and only 3 million in ireland.

So, in California less then 8% are Irish, and over 25% are Mexican, almost everybody I know speaks at least some Spanish to compensate.

I'm like barely Irish but more importantly, it was my dogs birthday yesterday lmao. We celebrated that more than we did St. Patrick's Day.

I was cleaning up the front yard on St. Pats Day just past (Sunday). I didnt know until a day later! Most of the time (Before Diet) I used to get sloppy drunk on St. Pats day! But now, im on my mission to stay healty and loose this weight! (Im 319lbs as of 3/20/2013)! Real Business!
