I think it looks good but she's twisted up in a weird kind of way.

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
Thanks for the comments guys, I was going for something here and half abandoned it part way through, what I was going for was the idea I was going to sacrifice anatomy for design. For example you'll notice that her right leg is one consistent swooping line from her hip to her knee, it was experimental but I deserted the idea halfway through the coloring process, I think if I can get just the right balance between anatomy and design I'll really be on to something.

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
That looks pretty good, though she is twisted up a bit odd. But I like your decision to go with design over anatomy, and it isn't that unreasonable of a pose. While someone couldn't hold that kind of pose for very long, it looks almost natural for someone in movement.

Thanks fellas, I think I'm gonna stick to the original 12 from sf2 before I move on to others.

Even T. Hawk?
You should do Final Fight characters too.

I think you should do E. Honda next. He's not my favorite character in general, but I really like his character design. I bet he'd be a fun one.

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
I hate Vega. He's such a lame girly man. And he yodels. What's up with that?!
That being said, he was my main in SF4 for a long, long time. Because he is very fun to play as.

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
Looks great!
My only criticism is the background is too distracting. I think probably removing the low opacity Dhalsim all together would be best or moving him to the left and flipping him or adding the white outline to the front Dhalsim like in your Chun Li.
Either way, can't wait to see the next one.

I don't really know what you mean by stylized?

Stylized like the exaggerated features(cone head, super skinny leg with giant calf, ect).

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
Thanks for the replies gentlemen, I see what your saying Kong, it Dhalsim doesn't "pop" enough. Just realised I gave him two left hands... how does that even happen... ugh...
Adding to what DB said about being stylized, basically, it's how far a stretch from real life you get. And it can go in lots of directions.
Not very stylised:

Moderatly Stylised:

Heavily Stylised:

In my opinion it's way funner to draw stylised, just kinda throwing lines around willy nilly.

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
I think it is that the colors of India's flag are ugly and blend in with him making him not pop. Not much to be done about that since those are the colors it is supposed to be.
This might be a good way to keep the country but reduce the flag's colors.

Re: Americanized Street Fighter
Yeah that would probably be better. I think another solution would be to remove a couple of things I did to Dhalsim himself. I put a green gradient over the entire thing with a low opacity. This kinda muted all his colors too much. Another issue that is standing out to me now that I didn't notice last night was that I shrunk him down too far, then scaled him back up a bit, making him a little blurrier than I wanted. I thought it was insignificant enough, but I'm really noticing now.
