Indiana Jones

So has anyone seen this movie yet despite it being the day it was released? I did, and i liked it. i wont talk about the story or plot in case some people don't want to get spoiled.

OOC: this would be much better with a movie category... since as soem fo you know i see these movies if i want to first hand.

Re: Indiana Jones

Well i see them free, but if you like adventure types and action.. and of course humor then i suggest you go see it. I think you get collector cards for seeing it too and besides Get Smart this movie was the other one my work advertised a ton.

Re: Indiana Jones

I don't know if I can handle Shia Luhbuff (I am aware that is not how you spell it, but I don't know how). He hasn't EVER been in a good movie.

I hope it's good, but I don't have very high hopes.

Re: Indiana Jones

Holes was OK, but it's a kid's movie. Plus, that's one. Movies he has been in that I have seen and sucked:

Transformers
Greatest Game Ever Played
Disturbia
Constantine

And those are only the ones I have seen.

Movies I have seen with him in it that I like:
Dumb and Dumberer was OK

And that's it. I don't dislike Shia LaBeouf completely, but I have yet to see him in a movie I give more than 2 stars.

Like I said, I hope it's good. I just don't think I will like it.

And Shia is not the only reason I question the credibility of this film. Keep in mind I am one of those indie film fans that no one likes because they always make fun of everyone's favorite movies.

Re: Indiana Jones

I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. The only problem I see with it, is Harrison Ford still a believable Indiana Jones? I still have a problem with Sly Stallone as Rambo in the recent film. I grew up with these movies and the fact they are coming back with the same actors makes me wonder if the new ones are any good.

It is. it takes place in Indi's later years and judging what happens it should tie up loose ends.

Re: Indiana Jones

I'm seeing it on Saturday. I've read that it's going to beat Spiderman as the single ALL-TIME highest grossing movie for an opening weekend.
Pretty impressive. Of course that doesn't mean it's going to be good, but hey, it's INDIANA JONES!

By the way, Shia Leboof, or however you spell it, is actually a pretty good actor. I haven't seen many of his flicks, but I thought he was very believable in Greatest Game Ever Played. I've also heard he's the "next big thing". Not sure what that means, but he's OK with me.
