Will this be NWO- The Golden Years? Those guys are all dinosaurs. None of them can really wrestle anymore, they're only there to boost ratings because none of the new talent has any appeal beyond die hard wrestling fans. WWE has shot itself in the foot by moving away from what made it great. This new direction is sad and boring.

To answer your question yes. If they can they'll get the gang back together and push them out in front of the drooling crowd. A couple slow and pathetic wrestling moves later they'll "win" and force some younger talent to rematch them so they can "win" back whatever the geezer gang took from them.

Well then you fall into the label of die hard. I bet pretty much anyone else reading those names has no idea who they are. Maybe Orton from commercials on SciFi(which is annoying and out of place).

So they're thinking of restarting NWO with a bunch of has beens and nobodies?
Del Rio- Who?
Triple H and some fake corporate guy- Has been and who cares
Big Show- Has been, can barely move. How exciting to watch him lumber around
Mark Henry- same as above but much less entertaining and notable
The sons of DiBiase and Rhodes- Sad attempt to boost their name recognition.
Zack Ryder- who?
Micheal Cole- He's one of their worst announcers, color commentators. That's why he would join, to get some fans and keep his job.

It's hard to bring a legends kids into the sport and go a different direction from what the fans expect. But if they did exactly like their fathers they'd be seen as lame and having no careers of their own. It's good that they're doing their own thing but they're stuck having to live up to those names.

Heenan is almost 70. It's bad enough they got stroke victim JR out there(or did he finally retire?). They want a young audience not fans of the 80s or earlier.

Orton is a fluke. I think people only like him because of when he was introduced and he can actually act. Most of those other young guys are athletes but they're awkward and boring.

The Rock did what? He has wrestling relatives but only the truly die hard fans knew that when he came on the scene.

Yeah but Rock didn't have to overcome a huge name in the industry like DiBiase. The million dollar man was a household name. No one really knows Rocks father or grandfather.

Nope. I'm a casual fan, or I used to be. My experience is the golden age when I was a kid(Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, ect) and the good modern era with The Rock and Kurt Angle.

I liked Kurt Angle, it was nice to see a legitimate Olympics-tier wrestler in the ring.

They all "retire" constantly. It just means their active career is over but they can be pulled up to boost ratings at anytime.
