I haven't started it yet but the plot of Akagi sounds interesting too.
So you've started watching Redline? Interesting?

I loved Akagi, it was more psychological than Kaiji, more about psychological destruction than desperation.
Redline is a movie, I watched it recently. It is awesome.
Here's how it could be best described:
A movie with awesome animation about cool people driving cool cars in a race where anything goes. You just have to get to point a to point b, by any means necessary and using whatever route you want. The race is on a planet with a strong stance against this particular race, and they are trying to break up the race by use of violence. The plot is not the best but, it isn't all that plot driven.
It almost seems like Speed Racer with aliens, guns and the mafia.
Every single frame is beautiful enough to be a wallpaper.
I can honestly say that sixty percent of the draw is the art/animation, fifteen is the plot and twenty-five is the racers themselves.
I never thought I'd enjoy a braindead racing anime so damn much.
Also, JP's hair is pretty damn awesome. You won't fully understand until you've watched the movie.

Also, I finished Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, well, just the first season.
It was really good buy, I need something deep and plot-centric now.
I won't watch season two of Kaiji until it is done airing, so I was thinking maybe One Outs.
Has anyone seen it?
