Damn that's actually too bad. If they did go through with it one of his friends might've actually done something illegal to them. Not that I'd want his loved ones to go through that but if it ended up getting WBC all beat down and put in the hospital it might be worth it.

I never heard of him but without him we probably wouldn't have the Blade character. At least he lived along time and had lots of fun working on comics.

That does seem pretty likely given his build and ridiculous persona but it is possible that he didn't take steroids. I think John Ritter died of the same thing.

Well we missed Betty Ford. Besides being first lady she was also an outspoken advocate of lots of important issues like addiction(which lead to the Betty Ford clinic), breast cancer and equal rights(racial and gender).

I bumped this because Amy Winehouse was found dead today at 27. So far I haven't heard why but it seems painfully obvious that her addiction and lifestyle lead to it. If so this makes one of her famous songs more profound and sad-

I'm not a fan but she did have a really good voice and could obviously sing. It's a shame she died so young and seemingly from something so preventable. Makes me think of the point of this song, how addiction is a losing battle that the addict can't handle-

Nah I don't think it was hard to predict given her very public addiction and decline. It was obvious that if she didn't get help she was gonna die.

Hendirx, Cobain, Morrison, Joplin are the only ones you ever hear about. There are a bunch more though most are not nearly as famous as the first 4

It's worth noting that Cobain(and a few others) killed themselves so technically it's not the same as the rest since they were all unintentional. A minor point but I can't help but make it.

There is nothing spooky about it. How many millions of musicians have there been? It's only natural a bunch would die at 27, especially when you factor in being an addict.
