More reports coming in...it looks like he was killed in a predator strike in a mansion he was living in. Several of his family members were killed with him. So, it seems in was in Pakistan at the time of the attack. This is uncomfirmed.

I am glad the search for him is finally over. I wonder how his followers feel about him being found in the lap of luxury in a Mansion. Not really the right vision for martyrdom which is good.as we don't need him seen that way.

Also worth noting is Pakistan has said they were part of this operation and Obama brought it up during his speech. That will help a lot with our relations with them and the other islamic countries, because we actually had permission.

I'm with db, it was likely a place more like the Alamo than the playboy mansion. There have been a bunch of rumors over the years that he was on dialysis, that requires medical equipment and space. This makes much more sense than being in a cave somewhere

on everyone's parade but you do realize nothing significant changed today. Tomorrow will be the same as yesterday and the war on terror will last longer than the war on drugs. It can't be won.

Osama was on his death bed for a decade. They for sure planned for this day and their propaganda machine has already been turned on. His followers will see him as a martyr and the tension will escalate.
