After many years of aweful 3D games, Sonic has returned to his 3D roots, but is it worth buying?

I've heard from far too many people that it's just not worth it so a big maybe someday for me right now. In otherwords, no, not a high chance.

Don't you mean return to it's 2D roots? And no, I wouldn't buy it. I heard that the level design of sonic the hedgehog 4 just aren't the same as it's 2D ancestors. The same can be said for the music of the levels, although that's all understandable, since the people that were in charge of the level designs and music moved on a long time ago from the sonic team. I also just don't like the way they made 3D sonic look. If only they made his running look more natural, it just doesn't fit with the 3D sonic.

They should just scrap sonic and start over with something less full of fail.

They'll never scrap Sonic, and there's no guarantee that even if they did, the new product wouldn't be worse.
