Is it just me or did you switch avatars to Yellow Caballero? I missed that since I've been offline for two weeks. Trip not withstanding. Biggest problem with the trip back was getting caught in a snow storm 113 miles from home.

OH FOR HEAVENS SAKE.

THIS WEEK HAS BEEN SO BAD, AND IT JUST GOT WORSE.

Some of you may know, I LOVE STORMS, ESPECIALLY TORNADOES. We haven't had a tornado here since 2001, when the big one hit around here. Well, we had one last night, and.. I WAS SLEEPING THROUGH IT. I am so pissed. I wanted to go watch it the entire time, my Mom just told me about it, and didn't wake me up (she then commented and said that the rattling thunder don't wake me up but as soon as someone comes into my room I am up like a hawk.) and to make matters WORSE it happens on my Vacation, I woulda been UP FOR IT IF THE DAMN THING DIDN'T USE MY VACATION THIS WEEK.

Oh god this week SUCKS. This just tips the iceberg, I am so ANGRY.

I understand where you are coming from, I love to watch storms, to go stand in the rain, watching lightning flash just a few blocks away where I can see them is great.

There was an incredibly loud thunder crack yesterday in Vancouver, does that make you feel better?
{no, I didn't think so}
I, too, love storms and have almost been killed by them on several occasions.

I only saw one tornado when I was young, and it came towards us in a valley {Winfield, British Columbia} which made it look like a gigantic wall of storm as high as the eye could see.
The destruction was moderate, and no one was injured or killed.

Hang in there Tails, the summer ain't over yet; I think, no, I KNOW there is some major storm activity brewing offshore because the weather here in Vancouver has been so unusually stormy lately.
Maybe there will be a super cell forming that will wipe all of us out.

Why do students always wait for the VERY LAST DAY to pay for their classes?!

Due to that, I'm having to deal with hundreds of students complaining that Business Office, Financial Aid and Registrars won't pick up the phones. Of course they're not picking up! They got a huge amount of students physically here topped off with hundreds of callers!

Umm....becasue they are students and they are broke....lol. Seriously though, that is why I am glad I get 100% Tuition assistance from the Air Force.

I was a student once too you know, and I didn't wait for the last day to pay even though I was broke. People should get their loans and other payment plans done in an orderly manner.
