Since I use Firefox now I like the sound of the temp folder thing. For IE it sounds like it will be a headache for most users who aren't tech savvy in the slightest.

2. Improve the whole temp file situation.
1. Add support for other sites to use ArcadeOX.
3. Add ability to run untrusted files from other sites safely. So you could run a file that might have a virus and still be safe. Like a condom for the Internet.

Nice, I labeled what I'd like to see first. Btw I wanted to ask, does this mean computer games can be played on RU? Like Megamari.

For the laser disk games that you listed with the youtube Kong, I thought that Dragons Lair was out per the previous list that you put down there.

If not then you know where my vote lies and that is with Dragons Lair to start.

It is not possible for any program or condom to ever 100% guarantee protection from viruses but you would be more safe using it than not.

You would be able to send EXE's from your computer or from the Internet to ArcadeOX and they would run inside it. ArcadeOX would not be able to access any permanent part of your computer. The program ran inside ArcadeOX would not be able to change any files and once you closed the ArcadeOX session the program would be completely closed and your computer would be the same as before you started.

Everything can be hacked but it would take a lot of effort from a skilled hacker in order for a program to get past the ArcadeOX firewall. Since only a fraction of a percent of Internet users would be using ArcadeOX then few hackers would take the effort to build a virus specifically for it. The main reason why most viruses are written for Microsoft instead of Macs is not because Windows is less secure but because more people use Windows. If someone was making a virus they would concentrate on the 99% of users that are not using any protection instead of the 1% that was.

It looks like Megamari is new, 200mb and not available for download, so no. I was talking about small old DOS games but support for large Windows games would be another feature that I could work on.

Dragon's Lair and Space Ace are by far the two most popular Laser Disk games, but they are both still being sold new. I think those are big pros and cons for including and not including them on the list.

I actually got the download, and the link to download it if you want it. I also have others like Tomoyo Fighter (I doubt that will be allowed on here since well, it's kinda 18+) and another game. I'd love to see that. I know my friend would absolutely love to see Scarlet Weather Rhapsody here.

i just voted none because none of those really interest me, ~~and maybe its just be but i dont see why or how arcade ox needs to be fixed/updated, but oh well, since thats what a lot of people seem to want~~

Say-y-y what laser disk games are you talking about?
Is it the CD games or those Laserdisc games?
(I hope it's the CD games)

Also, some ArcadeOX fixing could be good, cause it may help me play those SNES and 32X games, those I have trouble playing.

I am currently working on some updates for the site, and arcadeox and the laser disk game Super Don Quix-ote.

If anyone has some skills with video editing or Flash I could use some help on Don Quix-ote. Both are skills I haven't used in years.

yeah I just voted for the things I supported^^. though if it was just one vote id have gone for forum and hack games XP. I like seeing how other gamers can change up classic games. People get really creative, especially if making a nightmare of a game @.@. I beat super mario world along time ago but some of those hacks are..

I like playign games im really good at, and then getting totally swamped by them...

Though if I heard right about the Computer games beign added, thatt would mean DOS games like Zeliard right?

oh and now that I (finally) have a usb keyboard that works with the WII id be happy to test flash emulaters on the wii.

I am spending a lot of time working on upgrading to vbulletin 4 and making arcadeox version 2.

Upgrading to vb4 will mean several small improvements and is taking some time/effort to get it to run all the games. This should be done in around a month,

ArcadeOX and Laser Disk won this poll. I am going to start with ArcadeOX version 2. After it is complete I will work on the Laser Disk game Super Don Quix-ote and adding DOS games.

The current donation goal was reached. Thank you everyone, especially Winnebagel, Gamenguru, Bluej, kiwinavega, RJN182 and Impre3ssion.

Normally. I would start a new poll for the next goal but I am not going to do that this time.

I am finishing up ArcadeOX2 and RU6 which I hope to have both finished by June.

A recap of what this will mean.
AOX2
Support for multi disk games - this is needed for DOS and SCUMMs and large Amiga games and some others.
Improved downloading with progress bar. Larger game downloads would technically be possible but will not be added right away.
Improved error checking to fix problems with games sometimes not loading correctly.
Improved ability to access and back up your game settings and saves.
Support added for Firefox 3.6, Chrome, Safari and Opera.
Ability for other web sites to use AOX to run their own games.

RU6
Upgrading vBulletin (the forum software) from 3.8 to 4.0.
General cosmetic facelift.
Improved game search functions.
Improved modding so games can be added and updated faster and more often.

After that I will finish up Amiga, add DOS, audio and video sections and work on Laser Disk games. After all that we will have another poll but that should take us past summer.

If anyone is good with video editing or Action Script and would like to help with creating a Flash Laser Disk emulator send me a PM. I have most of the concept part done.
