It's not bad really. I never finished a replay but when I messed around with the editor I didn't notice any lag, not sure why. Btw you should get a video with you me and BH, that'd be cool.
Ah, I was wrong. TODAY is the birthday, they just patched it early last night. Sign on today and you should get the hat and noise maker
Also:
-Health pickups are cakes
-Item pickups are presents
-Gibbed players explode into balloons and confetti
-Beach Balls may be present around levels
I was wondering what happened to you. I wasn't really playing that round, just had a sentry up dominating fools.
When I first joined, my team was beyond stupid. How can they let you guys built not 1, but 2 sentries in our base?
I was an engineer before I was aware of this, the only one on the team. Then I spotted the sentry, called it out, and no one even bothered to stop it. Instead 2-3 more people felt they needed to be engineers to stop your attack.
Morons
I'll probably be on later, assuming my internet connection calms down. It's being spotty right now

Also yesterday I was an engineer, and my team started whining the enemy was building sentries on the bridge.
So being a good little engineer I snuck around through the water and built a TP to their sewers to quickly bypass the attack. It was there for at least 10 minutes and 6 people took it. Apparently charging head long into certain death was a better option
That game was really one sided long before you joined. At first I was just playing engineer so I could stand there and let the game run, with a sentry racking up kills. After a while of it not crashing I started gunning off the ramparts and no one could stop me. I got sniped once or twice but my gun was locking them down. I only moved forward when the other engineer leapfrogged his gun into your base. That was about when you joined. I made a teleporter, gun and helped the other gun. We were really dominating them bad. One or two of them seemed smart but the others just keep trying to brute force two manually controlled sentries.
It seems like a lot of people just don't realize how strong a sentry can be. Must be new people. It's annoying but you gotta learn sometime right?
Btw weird thing happened to me. First two items appeared in my inventory and I didn't get notified. Then I joined a trade game and one of my items was a chargin targe, no luck selling it but I did get lots of dominations with engineer again . The weird part is I leave the game and get notified that I have a third chargin targe. Weird right?
People don't give engineer enough credit. It's pretty hard to keep a gun up for any length of time. If you're playing with decent players it only takes one or two deaths for them to destroy your gun if you don't move it around. I find it works great to move it around after a few kills, even if it's just a different part of the same room. The Jag helps with this too.
If you're using the wrangler you don't really wanna be moving constantly unless you're really confident with the laser. It can be controlled from a good distance but getting used to that kind of angle isn't easy. I'm still killing myself with it when someone breaks past the safe zone in front of my gun.
Honestly I don't wrangle unless there's at least one other competent engineer to work with. Even if they don't help you directly just having them covering another spot is a huge help. If you're the only one and you're distracted by controlling your gun you're toast when someone switches to spy. Next time we play I'll work with you to wrangle. I wanna use other classes but engineer is too much fun.
I think I cam across a bug last night. Spy sapped my dispensor, and I could not remove it. I kept whacking away at it with my wrench and it would not take the sapper off. eventually it destroyed the dispensor.
