Re: Bard's Tale

Bard's Tale IV has been the only thing I have ever backed. Of course I'm not sure my pc can handle it when it comes out, I think in September. They had the usual kickstarter first. I did it primarily for the original trilogy.

Good games, good concepts, good artwork. The mapping though. No. It was too time consuming and then when I lost all my work I never touched it again. Until I got the email saying the Remastered Trilogy has been released. Well, at least the first one of the trilogy. Same feel as the original games, but accessible now. Automapping, saving, a bit less grinding. To me, it's the perfect time to get into them. You get all the good parts of the games that defined the genre without all the without the technological limitations of the 80s.
