After Spellbound Caves is finished we'll be playing a new map, Lethamyr. Lethamyr is a continental map by Vechz, the maker of Spellbound Caves.

In Lethamyr players are still tasked with finding and completing the Victory Monument. This type of map focuses on travelling and exploration across a large continent with expansive, realistic-scale biomes. This will take some time to complete and runs at a much slower pace than Spellbound Caves.

The rules are simple:
1) Find and complete the Victory Monument.
2) Find wool in chests scattered around the map, do NOT use dyes or spider string for wools!
3) You may craft the Iron, Gold, and Diamond blocks.
4) Use at least Easy difficulty, and never Peaceful. (I balance around Normal.)
5) Do not leave the boundaries of the map and go into normally generated Minecraft terrain.
6) Survive in any way you can think of. (Yes, you can mine, craft, and place blocks.)
7) You may use spider string wool and sheep wool to craft beds and other items, but not for the Victory Monument.

Information: The map is roughly 2000x2000 blocks. It will take quite a bit of time to traverse.

ChrisP: I can schedule a map whenever you like. But having a set schedule is good for everybody.

I played the map locally on my own a bit.

See now, this is what biomes in MC should be like: large expansive zones that feel logical in their arrangement (mountainous areas are snowy, deserts are vast expanses of sand, jungles have more and larger lakes, etc) instead of just randomly selected areas of colored block patched together every 100 blocks (sometimes less) or so.

Spawn is not that X. Looks like we started in front of the only mountains on the map, why is that?

That spawn, is the starting location according to the level.dat file that comes with the map. It only works for single player. The server client handles maps a bit differently, so that method of setting the spawn doesn't work.

Well I found the single player spawn and looted the chests and glowstone. Got some decent stuff. Then I found a tall, vertigo inducing, tower not far from our spawn and looted that too. Got some decent stuff as well, notably boots of feather fall 4 and purple wool. I left a sign out front so no one is confused if it's cleared or not.

Also I blew up the top of JGs hole in the ground. I was fighting one creeper when another crept on me from the side. Sorry JG.

Brawl, Crispy, and I tackled a pyramid in the north wstern corner of the desert. White wool.

We know where two others are.

@Brawl: I'm thinking we burn the tree dungeon to the ground.

Most importantly those giant trees with the spawners in them. I'd bet the farm there's a wool in there.
