"My mind is my weapon. My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer and I have my mind... and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge. That’s why I read so much, Jon Snow."
Minor snapshot 12w24a this week to the Mojang office move:
Allowed those connected to a player's LAN network to join SP games
The player can now use “/publish” to open your single-player game for LAN players to join. This is still very much work in progress, so it lacks some necessary settings such as what game mode players will get, and if they should be able to use cheats or not. Also, the “/publish” command is temporary, since the player can not even access it if they have not enabled cheats (LAN connections will be GUI based in the future)
Added the /tp command from multiplayer to singleplayer, allowing teleporting between players.
The player can now place Levers on the underside of blocks, upside-down
Improved Ender Chests
Now has an inventory per player and not per world. Also, knocking down the chest will break it into 8 obsidian, unless the player has Silk Touch enchantment
Updated language files
End Portal Frames now have a tooltip
The texture pack folder button now works on Mac.
A lot of smaller changes and fixes.
Big change is the Ender Chest, now each player has their own chest inventory, instead of one being shared across all players in the world.
Boats, when broken, now drop boats
Re-added debug graph on F3 menu Signs are stackable now: Crafting them now gives 3 signs instead of 1, stack up to 16
Added /debug command to enable and disable profiling
Changed a few things around pistons - Most contraptions still work fine, but some require changes to repeater delays and similar. Overall, pistons should have fewer bugs, but will appear to update slightly slower. Improved performance on MP and SP, including reduced CPU, RAM & bandwidth requirements
When opening SP worlds, users are now given their local IP address & port instead of hostname & port to avoid OS conflicts
Creative mode inventory now shows potion effects
