SMP Digest
Why don't we quickly jot down anything we've built each day? My reasoning behind this is that I like to walk around and see what everyone else has done. It seems like a quick, daily update would really help facilitate that.
Yesterday I didn't get too much done because I spent a lot of time grinding experience for a sword enchantment and mining. What I did get accomplished was adding three more layers to the sphere and removing all of the torches from the storage room which is now lit up ony using glowstone and lamps.

Re: SMP Digest
Last night I built a little walk way that helps me get past a little wall of obsidian that someone found in good humor.

Re: SMP Digest
I built a long tunnel to the nearby jungle. It's on ground level but as it moves closer to the jungle area it's underground because of the hills there. At the end is a small shelter with a nice view of the jungle.

Would that be the jungle to the North, or the jungle to the South?
Anyways, I'm thinking of building some kind of big redstone Rube Goldberg device next week that either uses high velocity boats or explosion propulsion to get a player to travel a great vertical distance quickly.

Re: SMP Digest
I haven't played in a couple of days. Last thing I remember, I was making my second floor.

I am toying with naming my base of operations "Tawa no Nyaa~"

Re: SMP Digest
I took back the obsidian I was letting DN borrow and I planted some birch trees, because everyone loves those.

You should consider trimming them. They are quite an unruly lot of trees and could use a bit of cleaning up.

Re: SMP Digest
@DB- Yeah, they did XD
I didn't do much today. I was searching for a mine shaft and didn't build anything aside from a few minor additions to my house.

Re: SMP Digest
Worked a bit on my tower after my internet was back. Chopped down the trees to a somewhat more reasonable amount, and had to repair the parts of my house that the trees overtook when they spawned full size. Removed more of your guys' "Artwork" off my roof, no big deal(so unoriginal though).
The lag I get is making it somewhat unappealing to play. Definitely noticed it running better with my new internet providing a speed increase on my internet though.

Re: SMP Digest
I'm sorry if the trees I planted damaged your stuff cam, that was not my intent at all. I fully planned on removing them myself next time I logged in. It was just to make you log in and have a fun little surprise.

Re: SMP Digest
no, it was alright. I actually neglected to say I got 3 stacks of tree trunks off the stuff I chopped down. Just be careful when putting them next to structures, the tree blocks tend to overtake any blocks in their way when they grow.

Re: SMP Digest
I didn't realize tree leaves overrode existing structures. That seems like a flaw.
You think you got a lot of wood from that? Imagine how much I got farming all those saplings in the first place. Actually don't imagine just go look in my storeroom I have like almost four rows of birch colored planks now.

Noob, you're not supposed to turn logs into planks until you need them.

Re: SMP Digest
I turned them into planks because I'll end up using them. I kept running out and having to get more, got sick of it. Now I have a large supply of wood to pull from. Plus it was birch anyways, no one likes them.

After the crushing loss of my diamond pick, I went for another level 50 enchant on a diamond pick, and ended up with efficiency 4, unbreaking 3, and most importantly, Silk Touch.

@Tenser- Ah that's what you guys mean. Well if space was a problem at all then I'd see your point. As it stands now though I have tons of free space to pile up useless junk.
