I think I would like Weird Al if I met him.

As it stands he can be funny on shows and stuff, and his music is really really dumb and rarely funny.

As far as making music, I don't really at all. I think I could do what Weird Al does. In fact, I constantly make up parody songs when I am at work and bored or walking down the street that I think are as funny as anything Weird Al has every made.

But the fact that he made a career out of it, I have a lot of respect for that. And he also seems like a cool enough guy, so I certainly wish nothing but the best for him.

I thought he was funny when I was in grade school. Songs like "Fat" and "Eat it" were funny at the time, but now I think he's kind of lame. There is no question he has creative talent.

I would guess liking weird al comes down to an age thing. I would imagine people under 21 (maybe even under 16) find him funny. Older than that, not so much.

well im 29 and his videos are hit or miss with me, al tv was great, his interviews are funny.

He can be funny. Song parodies are not.

It's like going to a comedy club. I usually have a great time but I grimace when ever one of the acts pulls out an acoustic.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I think most of his song parodies are great and I can listen to them over and over without getting tired of it, like White and nerdy or Trapped in the drive through.

I agree with that but I don't think Weird Al fits in that scenario.

I like most of his songs, and can endlessly listen to most of them, and the movie UHF was one of the best comedies I have ever seen.
