Re: Game requests

There isn't an expansion pack for Wroms on Genesis.

Resident Evil for NES is 1) all in Japanese and I doubt you will be able to get far without reading Japanese and 2) I can not find the needed files for it.

I also do not have the needed files for the GBC version of Resident Evil prototype.

You can request DOS and MSX games but none have been added yet. I don't want to add them until I can do a large bunch at one time. Also most DOS games will not work. Only DOS games that do not require a DOS extender which are usually the old games that came on a single floppy disk. The original Prince of Persia is the most advanced game I have been able to get to work.[br]Posted on: October 24, 2007, 03:51:15 AM_________________________________________________1 7 new Genesis games were added today.[br]Posted on: October 24, 2007, 10:55:09 AM_________________________________________________N EScafe, the Full Mode and Score Mode NES emulator, is being updated. So I will be switching gears from Genesis to NES game additions. Please request any NES game you want added now.

How about Zone66? When you get enough DOS games to put on the site could you include this one?

I know there were problems with it before but if it's possible, I think that we should complete are collection of Dragon Warrior games and get the second installment of the series (In other words, Dragon Warrior II please ;D)

I would like to request Sonic 2 Long version for the Sega Genesis. (basically, it is a version of the finished Sonic 2 that includes completed versions of the stages from the beta.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHK12Yz0szg

EDIT: The video is a link to part 1. There are 7 parts. To the right should be links to all of the parts of the video. Yes, there is a difference. Watch all videos to see the difference.

Re: Game requests

so kong, what kind of DOS games is it that we can request?

Kong 11-02-2007 04:43 PM

Re: Game requests

As a general rule - games that came on a single floppy disk.

As a more specific rule games that do not use a DOS extender like DOS/4GW and preferably are under 5 megs.

The original Mario Brothers, Lemmings and Prince of Persia will make it. It is a lot less good games than I initially expected but still there are a few gems to be added. I originally was hoping to add an SNES and MAME emulator by loading them through DOS instead of Java. But they require DOS extenders and make this option very difficult and probably impossible.

Do you think you might find someone capable of this? (putting dos games on this site?)

Re: Game requests

CD games can not be played online yet. And not anytime soon - bandwidth, CPU, Memory and storage space are all obstacles that would have to be improved first.
